Celebrating Everyday Creativity with Creativity Inc
Creativity Inc. was one of those magical events that reminded me why I love community-driven experiences. Held in Brooklyn and designed by my friend Pam, the event was all about how creativity infuses our daily lives, bringing together people to share, connect, and create.
Everyone was asked to bring one item that represented their creativity. I brought a few homemade pressed flower resin ring dishes from my Etsy shop, which sparked conversations about craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and the stories behind the things we make for others.
The event felt like an activation of everything I value: community, dialogue, and the joy of shared creativity. It was also a powerful reminder that creativity isn’t confined to art or design because it also shows up in the way we interact, solve problems, and bring people together. Little details, such as prompts requiring you to make a drink for someone else in the room, inspired me to strike up deep and meaninful conversations.
